Musician CASTRO Feared Dead And Asamoah Gyan Survives Boat Accident


Unconfirmed reports reaching gloriaeddie.blogsot.com indicates that hiplife artist, Theophilus Tagoe aka Castro, may have died in a boat accident at Ada. sources say he drowned in the Volta Lake while on a weekend getaway with Black Stars striker, Asamah Gyan. Gyan was taking his friends, numbering about 30, out on a boat cruise in Ada, when the accident occurred Sunday afternoon, according to reports.
Castro was reportedly trying to rescue a lady who had fallen off the boat, when the lady dragged him into the Lake. Both bodies have yet to be recovered, according to the reports. These reports have not been independently verified. Castro who hils from Takoradi, was born in 1982 to Lydia Tagoe, a trader, and Mr. Coffie, an accountant, at the Tarkoradi Harbour. He attended Anglican Primart and J.S.S. in Takoradi. Before he launched his debut album in 2003, he had featured on hip-life group 4x4 hit track "sikletele" which officially introduced him into the local music scene.
